The Artekit AK-COINCELL-HOLDER combines a coin cell battery holder, a JST connector (and cable) and a switch into a single board, ready to power-up your projects from a coin cell battery.
The little switch on the side controls the power output on the JST connector and on the VCC pin. The BATT pin is always connected to the positive pole of the battery, no matter the position of the switch, making this pin is very useful to recharge the battery by the means of simple resistor or to connect the battery to the RTC of your microcontroller.
The board has 1″ (2.54mm) separated pins and 4 mounting holes. The holder can be used with 2016, 2020, 2025 and 2032 type batteries. A cable with a 2-pin JST female connector is included. Batteries are not included.
