This is a simple but very useful board. It is a regulated 3.3V and 5V power supply that takes power from a standard USB host connector. This means you have a portable power supply you can plug wherever there is an USB connector available, a HUB, a laptop, etc.

The board has 3 pads: 1 for GND, 1 for 3.3V supply and 1 for 5V supply. The pads are 0.1″ (2.54mm) and can be used with standard pin headers.

There are no jumper settings or solder options to set: 3.3V and 5V are are always output as long as it’s connected to USB.

The board features a LD1117 power supply from STmicroelectronics (low noise low drop voltage regulator), a female USB MINI connector and an indicator LED.

We also ship a power supply from USB with an USB-C connector: the AK-USBSUPPLY-C board.

The board comes fully mounted and tested.
