Artekit Labs – SARS-CoV-2 update

Hello all,

As you may be aware, the situation in Italy regarding Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 is very difficult at the moment. As a containment measure, the Italian government has decided to close all non-essential activities until 3rd April (if not longer).

Since the beginning of the outbreak, Artekit Labs had been taken due precautionary measures for all employees and collaborators, working remotely whenever possible, but these new containment measures forces us to restructure the way we test, package and ship your orders. As a part of this restructuring, we choose to deliver your orders using only DHL Express as the shipping method. This is because the other courier we use, Poste Italiane, for some typology of packages, requires a person to take the package personally to the postal office for delivery. Since we want to comply not just from a legal standpoint, but also from a human one, we decided that this could no longer be possible, at least until the 3rd April.

Different containment measures are taking effect across Europe, and most of these measures requires people to stay at home. This also has an effect on the hobby and tinkering community, and is reflected in an increase of the number of orders we ship. We are trying our best to deliver as fast as we can, with the quality the Artekit Labs has always provided. But you can also expect a little delay, not only from us, but also from shipping services across the world.

We will keep you updated from this blog.

Thank you.

The Artekit Team.
